Bilal Saddik

I have worked for many years as a professional football freestyle entertainer, in the Middle East and in the UK. In 2008 I competed in, and won, the Red Bull Streetstyle Football Freestyle championships in Kuwait. This enabled me to start to build my career and inspired me further to pursue my interest in football where I was able to run my own football and football freestyle workshops with Goal sport and assisting coaching at Everton academy Kuwait.

In 2009, I studied Football Coaching, Teaching and Instruction (association football) and Personal Exercise and Nutrition at Preston College in the UK as well as I joined Exeter youth team and we won the youth league.

In 2010, I moved back to Kuwait, I continued working as a professional football freestyler travelling around the Middle East performing for big companies such as; Shell, Samsung, LG, Audi, Nike and many more. Later that year, I started a talent agency called SAW agency where I was in charge of managing and marketing talented football freestylers, Breakdancers, BMX riders, photographers and so on...

In 2011-2014, I became a business partner at one of the big football academies in Kuwait called SKELPS, I was in charge of coaching players age 4 to 16 years as well as marketing, securing sponsorship deals with Audi and Lillywhites companies, I was able to increase the academy players from 50 to 130 in the second year. I used my experience and connections gained in the previous years as a professional football freestyler and I began offering Sports consultation for academies as well as event management companies, helping them secure big events such as; Head and Shoulder Football freestyle competition. 

In 2014-2017, I started a new football academy called British football academy from scratch which I ran and managed as well as I was in charge of creating the website, marketing and designing promotional materials, customer service, finance and so on. Furthermore, in 2017, I started my own personal brand called B1, offering personal football training programs designed specifically for each player.

In 2018, I moved to Singapore with the family and currently studying online, business management at Essex University and been selected to run and manage NTU football training workshop.

 

In 2019, I was offered a part-time job as a Football Coach at Borussia Academy in partnership with well known Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach working with players u7's, u9's, u11's, u13's and u15's.

In 2020, I created my own sports consultation brand, B1, which I built from skills developed as a professional football freestyler and International football freestyle champion. I have worked with both primary, secondary and university teachers such as NTU helping them to develop specialized sports activities for students of all abilities with a view to learning through fun https://www.ntu.edu.sg/re/RENTUProgrammes/H811/Pages/Hall8.aspx. I have also worked directly with Football school directors to manage and develop curricula that meet the needs of students and the wider sporting community. Furthermore, I was selected by the Football Association of Singapore to organise and be the judge of one of the international football skills challenge hosted at Jalan Besar Stadium https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx40tY6edns&t=2s. In the same year, I was employed by Tanglin Trust school as a Senior PE teacher Assistant.

 

In 2021-2023: I successfully completed my Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business and Management from the university of Essex. I also passed my AUSTSWIM swimming course, I am officially a swimming teacher. I completed a practice based International PGCE at the University of Buckingham in Physical Education at Tanglin Trust School in Singapore, few months later, I was named the champion of the World Football Legend Competition in Singapore. In the same year, I became a Google Certified educator. In 2023, I was offered a full time position as a Early Years and Primary PE educator at MIS, in Singapore.

Aside from my passion for sport and education I have gained valuable computer skills such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Filmora, Web design, Microsoft, Excel, Power point, video editing and production and I hope these skills could be an asset when developing class or outdoor projects. I believe that personal and professional development are essential in ensuring I am the best I can be, and I am committed to self-improvement. It is my view that the skills I have developed, and will continue to develop, through this course all support my desire to make a positive impact at your company.
